CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
There are remarkab;e differences between the two projects. Enough so that the IRR at SC makes this the perfect starter place. Teck is holding out on Nova because they want their undivided attention. So why not wait and see if another player will take it up and also, one that agrees with Teck's overall plan. If no one comes then Teck can make a low offer. Any other major is going to see it as a cheaper way for them to get a piece so why would they offer?
