Yesterday I travelled hwy37 from Watson Lake to Bell II (Cassier hwy) in my motorhome. The amount of work going on the transmittion line is staggering. Much of the land clearing was done and I even saw some poured pads for the towers. In addition the entire length of the highway has been repaved and lots of heavy truck traffic. I also saw many tire tracks heading into the Galore Creek road (Novagold). Not sure why. I make this trip twice each year between Anchorage and Las Vegas and have never seen this road in such great shape. Lots of people employed.
