CG -Here's my idea and it's only an opinion.

I think Teck and CUU management were getting along like bosom buddies and after the courtship, Teck decided to play hardball like they have been known to do before, and made CUU a lowball take it or leave it offer. CUU responded. They said they would open camp and resume the drilling program since exploration is their business. Ernesto ponied up with a bunch of cash to get things rolling again, which kind of looks to me like he is giving the middle finger to Teck. Drill more holes then announce it.

Pretty good game going on and I sure would like to see what's behind door number 3. This is just the start.

Very plausible and explains the sudden change in direction. I don't believe it was the Mira in isolation. But if the Mira is exceptional....and Teck is giving off the wrong vibs, what better message to send than "Drill baby Drill!"

BTW - those ears must be able to hear a fly on far away walls.
