Just because we've never gone to a show with something in hand, doesn't mean we'll never go to a show with something in hand. Just because we've delayed everytime in the past doesn't mean we'll delay now.
Why go to the show? To show that everything is "business as usual" which is what you're supposed to do, whether it is business as usual or you have to hide that things are going on behind the scenes. These shows are booked months in advance, why would they not go? Perhaps their end of summer/September deadline is perfect for the show. My prediction was some news on the 25th (at least some, if not all of the BFS results). If I'm right, this goes great with new show. Having something new to show, and something recent will spur activity - you said "those who want to be in are already in" so now we have to make it so more people want in. Why not go to the Toronto show?
