Currently Teck has agreed terms with cuu. Now Teck is negotiating with one or more partners about the terms on which to develop Shaft Creek and/or the remainder of the district. Then Teck has a position in Liard. Teck has quite some balls to keep in the air. From the perspective of a potential buyer I can see the Environmental permit as a major risk - although it isnt. When playing with bilions one wants to be 100% sure. So as far as buy out taking place, i am inclined to think the deal is done/coming into force when all the environmental stuff is guaranteed! I wouldnt be surprised if parties already have agreed a buyout price.
