Message: BFS Reviews

I think the reviews announcement may be signaling quite a bit actually

There has always been speculation that Teck would partner with another major to develop Schaft Creek

I think the announcement of the Merit review cinches the back in

They provide studies to mine developers, which we are not

I would suggest that part of the behind the curtain dicussions called for CUU to nominally retain Merit, but their stuff isn't for us, we will be reimbursed for whatever they cost

The far more revealing announcement concerns friend Matt Bender, who carries the title

Senior Study Director, Early Stage Studies at Newmont Mining Corporation

It just doesn't compute that this guy is doing a study for Copper Fox here

Check out the latest report for Newmont and see if you don't agree that Schaft Creek is a pretty good fit for their stated future objectives

I'll offer that Newmont is now either looking for themselves, or are negotiating with Teck to co-develop Schaft Creek

It remains to be seen what we get out of this
