The Morrison permit denial will surely get a few people talking in the mining industry in BC.
I happened to come across an article today calling for the preservation of the Sacred Headwaters in the Skeena region (Tahltan area). Very glad Schaft Creek is where it is with the environmental qualities it has ... not close to the Stikine, or other major salmon-bearing rivers, and very few environmental concerns. Let me say again, very, very glad! It seems the province is getting staked out and there will be numerous politcal/environmental battles ahead regarding what goes and what doesn't. Schaft Creek is indeed a special deposit and region (repeated for the thousandth time here!)
