I've noticed in the past that Teck has announced a major purchase after the quarterly results.

I phoned Merit and asked them how long they would take to do a feasibility review. I was told about 10 days. They said that they check the spreadsheets to ensure the numbers are correct and all add up and then they look at the strategy. They might come up with something beneficial that drags this out even further...but I think they would have to tell us if there is going to be a delay of more than a month from now.
