Message: Called the CUU Office

I spoke with Lynn (who is lovely I might add) and I asked a few questions:

Mira Report: She has asked Elmer. The report takes times to compile. They haven't seen it yet, though the company has paid for it.

How long will the peer review take? A couple of weeks. They are grateful to have Matt on board who is the PFS author, so he is well acquainted with the project. Merritt was recruited in February, so everyone is up to speed. They are not putting a time on it, but they are upbeat.

Once reviewed, then what? The 120 day clock commences.

Teck: Lynn mentioned that Teck is really impressed with all the work that Copper Fox's small team has done. (My opinion here: This bodes very well for future productive collaborations between CUU management and the Teck bosses. Remember that nice charity cheque picture in which Elmer, Don Lindsay and others were taken? Seems like a cordial business relationship to me. Business is all about relationships.)

What is Ernesto like? He is very kind and very gracious to everyone in the office, and you can tell he is a great businessman. Even though he is very tall, he always travels economy class. He always wants to make sure the lowest fare is booked. Given his height, he even denies himself the extra leg room. Frugal.

Interest from 3rd Parties: There has been interest from other 3rd parties but everyone wants to see what Teck will do first in terms of the back-in agreement.
