I don't think we know anything about 428 yet.
I am inclined to think that 428 could well a big dud like DDH 400, 404 (a little better than a dud), and 421. All of these drills started in the very highest chargeability areas and turned out poor results. IIRC, 400 and 404 also had drilling difficulties. Depends on the angle they drill. Since 428 is in a different zone (and different geo processes), what happened in Paramount/Main does not necessarily dictate what we'll find in ES (or Mike) in relation to chargeability.
With 429 (Mike Zone)... I wonder if this is what Elmer went up to Schaft Creek to see this summer (I believe Vette reported a sudden Elmer trip?). Maybe he looked at the core and saw enough mineralization and other clues to say: "good enough for this spot, this is leakage from a deeper source".
I still can't quite figure why he wouldn't have put another hole or 4 into Mike/ES. I'm still scratching my head on that. To me, the only thing that fits this case (lack of drilling) is that the 2012 drill plan never seemed to be a priority for CUU and that tells me that they have another over-arching thought in mind when it comes to any drilling. That thought probably originated a few weeks/month before drilling groaned to life in June.
What that thought might be is constantly being debated here.
