I understand that there are a multitude of experienced investors on this forum and I'm betting that we also have a handful of rookies as well looking for their first kill. Either way, I'm sure that there are members of this forum that can attest to this: There ain't no drug on Earth that will deliver a better high than an exploding stock, and once the train leaves the station, you won't be looking back on how long it took to pop or the frustrations that you endured along the way, you will be looking forward. To your next kill. This, my friends, is what we call "the ride" and albeit, it's been a bumpy one, but it IS the infamous ride, so enjoy it. There have been many numbers thrown around on this site as well as others regarding buyout price, but this is the only number that I need to know. $5.60 per share. This is the number that I feel comfortable hanging my hat on, and you should too. Is CUU worth more than this? Probably, but it doesn't matter. The valuation, when it comes down to it, only reflects what CUU is worth to another company, but I cannot see the geo and financially savvy leaders parting from it for less. What you should concentrate on is what's next. The $5.60 would just be reward for your patience, what would follow after the buyout would be worth more than this, and it will be a much more comfortable ride, accompanied with pillows and warm blankets for those that are routinely griping about "how long the ride is" and "are we there yet, Elmer?" I get it, there are some of you that could have done other things with your money during this timely transaction. Each day, you and your money, which has now taken the form of a lesser-valued version of the CUU shares you once owned, look back at eachother through the computer glass with looks of bewilderment. "Why didn't we wait a year before investing?" you ask, and "I miss you, cashflow, you used to be much bigger and you looked so much healthier in my savings account." The truth is, at $5.60 per share, even if you bought at $2.50 per share, is still a fantastic return over a two or three year period. If you can do better than that, with an investment that is as sound as this one, PLEASE share this info with the rest of us.
