Operating profit, gross profit, and net income are not all the same metrics. I believe the costs Teck provides would be operating profit which accounts for all on site costs of production. Gross profit would be lower than operating profit because it would include head office overhead and similar costs. Net income would be profit after everything (taxes, accounting adjustments, etc)
