Actually Canadian law stipulates that in a conversation between two people, only one of them has to be aware that the call is being recorded, unless it is going to be used for the purposes of broadcasting.

Would uploading it here qualify as broadcasting the conversation? I don't think so, but I'm not a lawyer.

Companies have to inform you that a call may be recorded for quality monitoring purposes if they will be turning it over to a third-party for review.
