I don't understand the debate about the timing of the release of the BFS. For example, whether it would have been good or bad to release it before the US election, whether it is good or bad to release it today, before Thanksgiving, after Thanksgiving, etc. Doesn't all of that discussion ignore the consensus (which I share) that our day to day share price is not relevant to the ultimate buyout price? Releasing the BFS on what some might consider to be a bad day will not affect the pounds in the ground, the capex, etc.
Surely the important timing issue is to get the BFS completed properly and ASAP and then do whatever is required (deliver to Teck or whatever) to get the 120 day clock running.
