I imagine Elmer leaning into the cabinet, getting out that really big old key, going over the the old grandfather clock, inserting the key in the dial, and cranking the springs tight...and tighter...and tighter...now all we gotta do is reach down, pull that large copper (and moly, gold, silver, rhenium) pendulum to the side, and let 'er swing baby...teck tock teck tock ...
