There really isn't any negative to them releasing the bfs ( what is teck now all of a sudden going to say we don't want those billions of pounds) I don't think so

No, but it makes it more complicated, and it ends up taking longer than if we had gone along with it. And it's been said by others, but even if we wanted to and we've signed a non-disclosure agreement with Teck while negotiations are going on...we can't at that point just decide to do it.

Why not say we are discussing options available for a liquidation event without giving numbers. We all know nova gold is in discussions with potential purchasers of GC. And their sp hasn't sky rocketed because of it.

Again, because of NDA's and because it isn't conductive to negotiations. GC is trying to sell Galore but there aren't many buyers (at the prices they want) with the problems that they have currently. SC on the other hand is a lot more attractive. Speculation tends to make things go further in both directions than fair value.
