There's a speculative report on Stockhouse that Teck may be among suitors interested in taking over Copper Mountain. It makes mention of its B.C. location holding appeal in this uncertain world we live in.
The estimated target buyout price is around $8 per share. Copper Mountain is currently trading around $3.70. It's up 5 per cent on the rumours today.
A Teck purchase at $8/share would put Copper Mountain's market cap around $800 million. So there would still be plenty left in the kitty for the CUU back-in/buyout.
