I doubt he's angry. I just think he doesn't believe your stated position. It's a difficult line for you to walk... having to appear hopeful while quietly sowing discontent.
We've seen enough variation from the nay-sayers that it becomes obvious when they... well... when they start nay-saying. Even when they try shrouding it in a facade of hopefulness.
Same with Web. He's trying to get you to engage him in an honest discussion about the technicals of the project, but you avoid answering any of his direct questions. That exposes you as a fraud.
Let's face it, if you've been on a friendly luncheon basis with DM for any amount of time, then you'd have some ability to discuss some of the already public technical particulars of this project. The fact that you either cannot or will not have the discussion tears away your credibility.
