I don't understand why the Nexen deal, whichever way it goes, has anything to do with Copper Fox. On the one hand, you have a Chinese state-owned company trying to buy a piece of the Alberta oil sands outright. On the other, you have Teck, a Canadian major, angling to either buy out or come to some agreement with Copper Fox, a Canadian junior. It's purely incidental, though probably helpful, that China Investment Corp has a minority 17% stake in Teck, but So What? Possibly, I'm missing something and I'd be happy for someone to enlighten me.
