My only fear now is if someone like Glencore or someone of that stature were to make a play for Teck. It was rumored that Glencore would make a play for FCX once they finalized the deal on xstrata but I think FCX is off the table with the big acquisitions they have just made. IF CUU take too long to get this BFS out and the clock ticking, lots of things could happen. Time isnt our friend I dont believe. However, it would seem that things are imminent and the clock will start shortly.

as an aside, I think teck is a big enough company to canada that the govt wouldnt take to kindly to someone taking it over so probably my fears are overblown.
