I believe you missed my point, Elmer would have had long discussions with Stifel before they invested. Elmer may need Stifel or other investment firms in the future, BXX? No way he leads them down a garden path or jeopardize his credibility with them. These guys, Stifel didn't become the best for overpaying or holding a stock so long to get a 10% return. And if you don't think they had a direct line to Elmer all along to ensure their investment was safe or expecting a large return then I believe you are mistaken. Elmer has given the impression that his word is his bond, Liddy and Vette confirmed that with the BFS out before Christmas promise. I have to believe there is more to this story than a very conservative BFS!
