The 2011 preliminary feasibility study completed on Seabridge's KSM property considered an expansion from 120,000 tpd to 180,000 tpd.

The study estimated that this expansion would:

- Improve the IRR from 9.2% to 10.2%

- Cost an additional $928M (initial capex was $4685M)

- Reduce operating costs by 2.5%

I suspect similar numbers would be realized for Schaft Creek.
