question is why did they pull the drills in the middle of the season.

That question had me curious enough to call the office and ask the reason why. The answer wasn't very conclusive. The reason given was that the weather conditions were becoming a factor(winter closing in) IMO it was a wink wink read between the lines answer. This year they wouldn't have had any problem drilling until the end of october.
