Message: Great Speculation: Elmer's Low Ball approach - Jan 6th

The speculation surrounding Elmer's possible bare minimum BFS is great!

CUU never advertised themselves well. Heck they basically did the opposite by pretending that we have nothing to invest in thru the mute NR and absent analyst coverage. During the past year we blew almost entire drilling season by not pumping holes into the "District" to prove up even more Resources.

Could it be that Elmer has come up with his own "Super Post" similar to Vette, but made for EE to see. A super post describing the immense deposit and potential Over/Under/Surrounding SC. Describing how the potential is much bigger than the SC deposit.

Following this internal SuperPost EE and ES take the necessary steps to quickly complete the BARE MINIMUM required to put Teck on the Clock. (Since the BFS was already very delayed at this time) Why not start the clock on Teck, refuse any LOW bids and apply pressure on Teck to either Back-in and start spending big bucks putting the mine into production, or walk away.

The thing is, if Teck goes for the back-in after not being able to negotiate a fair price: the first thing Teck will do in 2013 is drill the SH!T out of SC and surrounding areas... increasing the massive deposit for CUU within months... then spend the next "four" years building a mine that would probably be too small to even handle the district....

The amount of investment needed to max out production and build a deeper, wider pit to utilize the greater resources found at depth would be much greater than the initial capex.

So is this the strategy? Were the drills called back last minute because of this reasoning? Quite plausible since CUU is currently in the driver's seat (owns 100%). CUU did its end of the agreement by being at least +$1 positive BFS.

So Teck, do you want to walk away and let us own 100% with a Billionaire ready to dump money into a few drills to prove up the "waste rock" and seek another purchaser? Or would you like to Back-in and spend money making CUU even more valuable?
