For the record, I find Willy Nilly to be quite even-handed and tolerant of some negativity and off-topic discussion creeping into the main forum. We don't want it to get out of hand, obviously, but achieving that balance is a difficult thing to do.
What's unfortunate, in my mind, is that the person who banned cranecrane, still unidentified, did not simply remove the offending post that suggested CUU would be taken private.
I'd also like to point out that cranecrane was not the first person to make this comment -- someone else with a higher ranking put that out there for public consumption the day before (I won't name names because it may incite a spitting match).
Anyway, the point is, hub leaders should make the extra effort to remove offending post(s) -- only if the post is really that bad -- and send warnings before an established long is sent packing. Everyone can have an off day, especially when the share price is collapsing. Forget and forgive, unless it becomes a recurring problem over days.
