CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
"My understanding is that the BFS was specifically designed for teck and based on agreed upon parameters prior to completion. The stipulations that Teck and cuu wrote restricted the information that they could include in the BFS.
I don't think the BFS as it stands was designed to attract any other suitors other than Teck. In fact, it's very possible that Teck wanted it that way so other companies would not try to compete with them."
agreed Swinter.
of all the theories here it is the one that makes the most sense.
Elmer is no dummy. He has a masters in geology, and 30 years of this stuff under his belt. Not to mention that he has worked closely with Teck to nurture this along.
Teck knows first hand what this property has going for it and wanted a worst case scenario to be a positive one ... and it is.
Teck is well aware of the trends and pounds outside of the bfs.
this is purely panic selling ... follow the leader type.
it's sad that many have waited this long and are bailing so close to the end.
The stock market is designed to transfer money from the panicked sellers to the patient.
People are taking their cues from price action rather than from values.
Based on value is now a good time to buy?
The dumbest reason in the world to buy a stock is because it’s going up. The smart investors will do just the opposite.
They will make their move any day now.
Markets are often priced on emotional reaction and not logic.
CUU trading the past few sessions is a perfect example.
You bought on fundamentals. They are still there.
I know you've heard it before. Funny how quick we forget.
CUU completed the document for Teck following to the letter what Teck wanted.
They have done their job. We second guess Elmer and say he didn't do it right.
What we should consider and focus upon is that he did it the way he was instructed by Teck.
Why do you think Teck wanted it done in this matter? Elmer's demeanor has seemed pretty confident for a long time now.
We will soon be enlightened.
Trust your due dilligence ... not the guy who doesn't trust his own.
Hold as long as you can. Be greedy when others are fearful.
The time to get interested in a fundamentally sound stock is when it appears no one else is ... like now!
Buy quality merchandise (like CUU) when others are selling.
Ok, another cliche ... Price is merely what you pay, value is what you get.
Unless you can watch your stock holding decline by 50% without becoming panic-stricken, you should not be in the stock market. It happens regularly.
The buyers are waiting to take your shares when the sellers are weeded out.
There is blood in the water.
Don't let them have your shares.
Insiders are buying.
Do you believe the share price will be higher in a couple months? It looks like they do.
Follow the lead of those who know more than you or I.
They have alot of skin in this game.
We are more undervalued than ever given that CUU has reached their goal, and given Teck exactly what they asked for.
