I happened to agree with you Metacomet. All I asked of mudguy was to provide some solid proof to back up his assertions. I got no response back. As a PE myself, I challenged him on his assertions about the steepness of the pit wall and the engineering difficulty it would entail. I also asked him to back up his claim that our capex would balloon to over $5B ( which now we know did not happen ). If you are going to point out negatives then back up what you say with solid research and arguments. Otherwise I consider posting negatives without solid facts and research to back up your arguments to be just plain bashing.
