When rot sets in like that it's a matter of time before they unravel. The extrodinary excuses I'd call out right lies tell us what kind of management and board they have. They just don't care what happens to their customers. Trying to grow their way out is absurd. They can't manage what they have and resorting to lying isn't going to attract the talent they need.
