For reasons that have been suggested here recently, Copper Fox intends to make the BFS details (400-500 pages?) open for all to see on Sedar BEFORE handing over those details to Teck.
I hope this is not true, that condensed BFS OPEN FOR ALL TO SEE ON SEDAR BEFORE HANDING TO TECK. Per the below information which I copied and pasted from the SEDAR Q&A website, the document will have to go through a review process and posted the next business day after completion of review. This could take a week, two, depends, afterall it is a 400-500 page document and they need an individual experienced in geology and mining. NR, PP's and such are published next business day without requiring review process. The date of filing will retain as Feb. 4, 2012 however, the website will be marked PRIVATE until after review whenever that is. It does not affect date of filing.
UNLESS, the "cringing" possibility that CUU/Teck are planning to wait until BFS is officially posted on SEDAR (after review process), before serving Teck with BFS which then legally starts the 120 day clock, then who knows what that date might be. I really don't want to think about this possibility over this very long, long weekend. Hope no one is that conniving to think this possibility. That would be EVIL!!!
Sorry for caps and bold text.
When are the documents made available on this Web site?
7. When a public company or investment fund files securities documents with the Canadian securities regulatory authorities through SEDAR, the documents initially have a status of "private". The securities commissions then make the appropriate documents publicly available after a review process. These public documents will be accessible on this Web site the following day. Continuous disclosure documents such as news releases, financial statements, notice of meeting date and annual reports do not require the securities commissions' review and are available on the Web site the next day. For example, a news release filed through SEDAR on a Friday will be accessible on the Web site as of the Saturday. Updates to a company's profile also appear on the SEDAR Web site the following day (see FAQ no. 13).
