I had no issue with your post until I reached the last sentence which said:

"I think it's fair game to have a dialogue here about what an NDP government might do that could obstruct the mining industry in B.C."

To be relevant to the discussion as it was initiated on the main forum, that sentence needed two modifications, the second one being the most important. This is how I think you could have phrased it to stay relevant:

"I think it's fair game to have a dialogue here about what any future government might do that could obstruct the progress of Schaft Creek towards becoming a mine."

...and then gone on to explain why.

To echo Chappy's eloquent request: please take political content of a general nature to the OT forum.
