I think this has to be taken with a large spoonful of salt. There isn't any supporting math. Moreover, not sure how many folks in here who have directly negotiated a buy out. Without calling the company, you have to take it FWIW.

We need to remember there are many motivations at this late stage to try to keep the price down or get people to sell. Hang in there folks.
