I have to admit that the timing for this is probably one of the best case scenarios I can think of. The event, which allows for a 20 min one-on-one session with large investment firms, is taking place in a somewhat "sweet spot" where we have delivered a positive FS (having a positive FS done in the first place isn't something to take for granted) and are now awaiting Teck's response. Our SP is very low and there is a general consensus that we are undervalued. Given the very strong possibility of imminent news that could send the SP skyrocketing within the next 4 months, is this not the perfect time to invest?
In other words, if we were still at the BFS stage, there would be a lot of negative speculation as to why it hasn't been completed. Conversely, if this event were to happen after teck's decision (let's assume it's a good one), our SP would have already risen to match that of the offer. But being in this sweet spot right in between the two events is the PERFECT time to appeal and sell to these larger firms.
Maybe Elmer knew what he was doing all along... hahaha. Regardless, we'll see what happens next week :) I'm excited.
