BTW I asked, they can be in blackout and get options..you just can't exercise them.

That doesn't sound correct.

The problem is almost one of semantics. A blackout is just something the company declares but it doesn't mean they are aware of any material information.

However, if they have material information they cannot issue options. I would think negotiations have to be material.

DM appears to still be buying so I guess at least he is not aware of any material information.
