"A typical cut-off grade for an open pit gold mine would be 0.35 g/t"

This may be used as a cut-off grade but the average grade has to be much higher for a mine to be economical. Detour Lake is one of the lowest grade mines around and it's still around 1 g/t. I don't think anything less than 0.80 g/t is even considered feasible.
