It could mean that the Liard shares are so valuable to Teck that they are willing to offer something better than the back in terms to keep them.

You hit the nail on the head RT! If they were going to buyout Cuu 100% wouldn`t transferring them just be a waste of time and money? If they are talking buyout I wouldn`t bother asking for the shares now either. However, if that option fell through somehow then yes I would politely ask for them to be transferred asap. Does this reasoning make sense to anyone?
