What if the whole 45 day delay to file on Sedar, the 'quiet period', 'discussions", the mystery about when FS was delivered and the lack of any clarification on 30 days and the start of the Teck clock is all camouflage for real deal making discussions between Teck and CUU?

What would CUU be telling us if they were in deep negotiation with teck right now? Probably a lot of stuff about being blacked out or 'can't comment'/'quiet periods, etc. Disguising any negotiation would certainly help in containing any leaks no?

I think DM and EE would only be brought in towards then end of any negotiations to anoint a draft deal so that might explain their ability to participate in PP's and trades. These guys are directors not the CEO, CFO, etc. They would have probably given ES his marching orders prior to going any where near Teck.

We don't have a lot to go on other than looking at what appears to be not happening and that doesn't make sense to me: Liard transfer, status of Teck and the FS, what all these PP's are about etc.

I'm not trying to dole out the koolaid here, I'm trying to make sense of some weird developments. Feel free to shoot everything full of holes.
