The Liard shares were acquired many years ago at who knows what cost. the tax implications could be complicated, and unnecessary, especially if Teck is going to reacquire them in the near future.

I have to go with the co. on this one. it's obvious something is going on behind the scene and management knows what, and all we can do is guess.

This is for met... you have some good questions, but continuously asking us is pointless. we don't know anymore than you do. why not call the co. and ask them. that's the only way I can see that you'll ever get an answer that isn't speculation.
