It does effect mining. This guy is basically telling you guys exactly what I've said. Those with advanced EA's will be very hard to stop. Mining does feel the necessity to go to the public to try get them to vote for mining. Read into that what you want. I think it speaks for itself. Taxes are going up. It's pretty hard to avoid that one and all we can hope for is a balanced approach. Whoever wins they will have to raise taxes.

Bottom line. This in no way supports the NDP. You supporters who will probably delete this are fooling yourselves.

On a side note. The healthy exploration rate is about 20%. I do not see this happening for all the reasons I cited on my blog. That will lead to extreme volatility. Boom and bust despite the growing need for new deposits. What will emerge will be a new investment method for exploration. The collapse of capital is not like it was in past times. This is a brand new critter. The changes will be permanent.
