Sorry, Topaz, but I don't think you understand. The 2012 set out to explore outside our FS related work and would have done nothing towards dealing with the 171M tonnes of waste rock and nothing from it should have delayed the FS.

From the NR: "The 2012 exploration program will focus on the regional evaluation and exploration of the project outside the limits of the Schaft Creek deposit and is expected to cost approximately $10.0 million".

The closest drill (DDH 429)was 200m away from our mine rim. Anything and everything that we set out to do in that 2012 exploration plan NR was completely non-FS related and we said so in the NR.

CUU has kept repeating the line that they didn't want to delay FS - in responding to why we stopped drilling - but that is rather silly since 2012 was never about the FS. They've done a pretty good job of covering their buts with this excuse when it clearly doesn't hold water.

When I looked at the 2012 drilling, it seems that two of the failed drills failed right at the point they were entering or quite near the chargeability that has produced mineralization in the past. Maybe, just maybe, they found that last meter from the bottom of the hole hinted at what they wanted to see in relation to that 1 to 1 correlation and were satisfied with keeping that under their hats and that fits neatly into my theory that Elmer wants to keep the northern areas under the radar and unzip it later.

Why stop a drilling programme when 1/2 of the first 5k meter phase failed? They were still hinting in Sept of continuing with the next 5k m phase but they had already shut down camp. You can't drill without an operating camp and shutting it down for the winter then re-opening it wouldn't really save them that much money in camp operating expenses imho. It takes time and money to demobilize and winterize camp only to remobilize and start it up then re-winterize it.

Meanwhile, in that same Sept NR, they were promising the FS to be released at the end fo the month. Again, further evidence that the 2012 programme had nothing to do with FS.

If anyone asks management why we stopped drilling, please ensure you ask in a way that enquires about the stated 2012 objectives and the northern targets outside the FS. We only successfully completed about 22% of the planned 10k meters of drilling and mangement called that a 'success'. They also promised more Titan surveys in 2012 and that didn't happen either.
