You can not get dividend if a company does not make profit. Dividend is way for a company to share its profit with its shareholders. Since a junior like cuu cant make a profit(it just spends money in the hope of discovering something) you wont get dividend until we start producing. Please correct me if I missed something here. Btw your scenario sounds more like a sort of spread cash buy out offer. Ive never heared that happening before. Im actially a broker for a living so Ive seen a lot of buy out scenarios and this one has never been of them. So not to burst your bubble but in the event of a buy out it will be direct cash or shares or a combination of the both.
