I don't really understand the "I'm in until the end" anymore. I used to think this way on Copper Fox until the disappointing BFS, when for me, things changed significantly and I started to sell off the majority of my position at a loss (painful at first, but glad I did it now). I've ridden other stocks from .55 to .02, and just escaped another (at a loss) before it was delisted, and never did I ever think these scenarios would happen to the companies I was invested in (not saying anything this bad will happen to CUU, but it can go lower).
I guess how one responds to a long downtrend depends on one's comfort level. I don't really like looking at the 6 or 12 month chart on CUU - not pretty at all (don't even look at the 2 year chart!!)
Too each his or her own, regarding one's risk levels and timeframe on needing investment money back. If you are overextended, hang in there I guess, or consider selling some if you are way overextended, or perhaps sell and jump into something else where the chart is looking a little friendlier. There is money to be made elsewhere, especially between now and June, which to me looks like the most likely time for any substantive news.
I applaud those sticking to their guns to the end. I couldn't do it any longer as I just don't see the pot of gold at the rainbow anymore, at least not anytime soon (are we really not getting a drill program until we hear back from Teck? And when exactly will that be? Big sigh).
Cheers.
