At least poor DM will be able to average down a bit and get his wife to buy at 30 cents while we hold on for dear life.

This is like being on a plane and going to a particular destination but no one knows how much gas there is in the tank (apparently not even the pilot) and then you simply hope that the controller will give you a good landing.
