In a way the fact that they haven't transferred them is starting to look like a positive event to me. Elmer said something to Liddy about how CF hasn't asked for them yet, but could. That seems to settle the argument over whether we've earned them or not. At least Elmer seems to think we've done our part and they are ours for the asking.

But, if Teck is not in a hurry to hand them over it might be a good thing for us, an indication that they want them. It might cost some money to go through the legal process of transferring ownership, not to mention have tax repercussions as someone else has said. So they aren't likely to want to go through the process until the final decision is made. If Teck were only going to earn-back a share then the Liard shares would need to be transferred until they did. The only way those shares should remain in Teck's hands is if they buy us out completely. Given that they haven't been transferred, doesn't it leave that option on the table?
