CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
I think that before the buyout the liard shares are worth way less than after the buyout. Reason being is because Teck will put a value on the liard shares if they for example decide to buy us out for lets say 3 bucks. So if the liard shares were right now with CUU the value of the liard shares would go drastically up compared to right now and teck would be paying higher taxes on that land. Golfyeti makes good sense of this especially with no buy out yet the liard shares are really worth nothing... so why give it to CUU?
