Message: Teck CEO says major M&A speculation "grossly overblown"

"And then at some pre-arranged or negotiable time, Teck could buyout CUU; and as much as the cost to Teck would likely be higher, it could be off-set by the expected increase in resource lbs and metal prices."

Not sure about this. How does Teck really gain from this. They know all about the property right now and it will never be any cheaper for them.

Would Teck really need anything that CUU has not already provided? They are already in the area at Galore.

Should Teck not take us out now I do not see a deal with them down the road. This is the one and only chance to get in and its right now. Hurry limited time offer expires June 4th.

In order to maximize value CUU's portion of Shaft Creek needs to be tested on the open market. Lets hope they back in at the lower levels, pay to upgrade the resources then EE gives them the shaft down the road.
