Let's not turn this into a political board but even the Parti Quebecois in Quebec (far left)who promised huge tax hikes for miners finally changed their mind for a very low raise that should not change much moving forward.

And this party elected last autumn in the Belle Province were promising huge tax raises for miners, compared to BC NDP who said they will still be ''mining friendly''....
