I thought Elmer didn't smack down the Rivers Without Borders remarks hard enough. He needs to work on projecting his excitement a bit better too.

The Stikine is twice or 3 times removed from the SC mine (except for the road and bridges). SC drains into Mess Creek which then drains into the Stikine. Mess Creek is roughly 3x's the size of Schaft (guess), and the Stikine is roughly twice the size of Mess Creek. The point being that any risks headed downstream are repeatedly diluted before encountering important habitat. Meanwhile Schaft Creek itself is chaulk full of mud and minerals at significant times of the year. Water from our Tailings Storage Facility could likely be purer than the SC water on average.

If Rivers Without Borders is the only ENGO working against us, we shouldn't have too much trouble.
