I would agree that the news release is starkingly similar on the surface.

However, building an open pit mine next to a major city is a HUGE difference to building one in the wilderness would you agree? Are there other examples in other similar jurisdictions? I ask here because I suspect there are way smarter guys than me here with waaaayyyy more experience with this. In till the end. And it seems, in the opinon of this newbie, that the end is nigh.
