I haven't went through the NR yet but Teck got what they want in acquiring this asset without spending too much costs (ie. spend $360 million on exploration instead of getting into production)(Teck now spends money where it'll improve the value of the mine). CUU got the big mining backer to finance this into production.
Right now, Schaft Creek will become a mine and not just any mine. In 5-7 years, this mine will produce the following:
124,000 tonnes of copper
237,000 oz of gold
1,229,000 oz of silver
8,420,000 tonnes of moly
Copper Fox 25% of it is
31,000 tonnes of copper
59,250 oz of gold
307,250 oz of silver
2,105,000 tonnes of moly.
It's not a small figure, CUU's portion is equivalent of a small miner's annual production.
