Is it just me or is 11 million in dividends pretty negligible? It's pretty piss poor value creation in my eyes.
5% is great...if it's on going and the risk isn't that high. But for a junior? This is really a slap in the face Why bother trying to make 5% for shareholders - opposed to doing something real or that has actual value creation?
Why not buy back shares? This would help for a future buyout in terms of the amount we get back per share at that point (which is what everyone actually wants), would help liquidity for the already low volume and would likely increase our share price more than 2 or 3 cents over the short, medium and long term. Hell - it might create an upward price momentum which would make traders trade us up instead of down. What's also good about this is that they could stop buying at any point they wanted. Pretty sure chasing the SP with 11M would do better than just giving it back to us with our volume.
Why not just hold the money in case SC does go on longer than anticipated? God knows it's gone on longer than anyone has anticipated already.
I think the usage of money could just be used in much better ways.
